Das Spielfeld von ePawn Arena ins Gesicht eines Mitspielers zu schleudern würde für erheblich höheren Schaden sorgen – sowohl finanziell als auch körperlich. Das Ding hat nämlich 20″ Diagonale, besteht aus einem Bildschirm mit Smartphone-Anschluss und erschafft nach Hinzugabe von Spielfiguren erweiterte Realitäten.

Geil.

Der Anbieter Grooveshark hat seinen Dienst in Deutschland – entgegen seiner Angaben – nicht wegen unverhältnismäßig hoher Betriebskosten eingestellt.

Vielmehr weigert sich Grooveshark grundsätzlich, den von ihm betriebenen Dienst überhaupt in irgendeiner Form zu vergüten. Mit der GEMA hat Grooveshark bislang auch noch in keiner Form Kontakt aufgenommen.

“Grooveshark, die ‘Schurkenseite’ unter den Musikstreamingdiensten”, wie netzwertig.com den Dienst bezeichnet, sieht sich daher aktuell bereits mit Klagen z.B. von Universal Music, Warner Music und EMI Music konfrontiert.

Auch Google und Apple haben kürzlich die Grooveshark-Apps aus dem Android-Market und dem Appstore verbannt.

Anlass der Schließung des Dienstes in Deutschland ist damit nicht, wie durch den Infotext auf der Website von Grooveshark fälschlicher Weise suggeriert wird, eine Uneinigkeit über die Vergütungshöhe, sondern die generelle Tatsache, dass Grooveshark Urheber und andere Rechteinhaber an seinen Umsätzen beteiligen muss.

The new version, Path 2, is about capturing and sharing moments – they refer to it as a smart journal. It’s not Twitter, Foursquare, Instagram or Facebook (though it does feel like the timeline). It’s a bit more like Evernote in terms of what it does, but is more about what’s going on in your life. What struck me about this app though, and made me want to write about it, was the interaction design.
